Harnessing Natural Processes to Maximize Benefits to Coastal Louisiana

Join us Wednesday, October 7 as Dr. Mike Miner from the Water Institute of the Gulf discusses the Coastal Master Plan objective of harnessing the natural processes acting upon our coastal system for more sustainable ecosystem restoration. He will provide an overview of the large scale physical processes governing the system, research that has informed our understanding of these processes, and how restoration can be designed to work with these processes to maximize benefits.
This week’s webinar will provide for an overview and introduction to a series of webinars on the topic of working with nature. The presentation will be followed by a brief Q&A session with the presenter.
