FFACCTs WEBINAR: USDA Climate Hubs: Work with Tribes and Tribal Communities to Enhance Climate Resilience

Presentation: USDA Climate Hubs: Work with Tribes and Tribal Communities to Enhance Climate Resilience

Since their establishment in 2014, the USDA Climate Hubs have had the opportunity to work closely with tribes and tribal communities and explore means of incorporating indigenous perspectives into climate adaptation.  Today’s FFACCTs will provide an overview of projects and tools that the Hubs have co-developed with tribes to support enhanced understanding of climate risks and incorporation of climate change considerations into natural resources management.  Among other resources, the panel will describe the Tribal Climate Adaptation Menu, the TSCAN network, and an online database of USDA programs and resources to assist tribes in adaptation and mitigation of climate change.
