My research lies at the interface of environment and development economics, with a recent focus on evaluating the impacts of conservation initiatives on both forests and local populations. I have collaborated on several pan-tropical studies of tropical forest management and policies, including REDD+ or Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation plus the conservation and enhancement of forest carbon stocks.
