Area(s) of Expertise

The component of my research that aligns with the Climate Center relates to extreme weather and climate change. We’ve studies hurricanes and climate change (see Hill and Lackmann 2011, Mallard et al. 2013ab, J. Climate), flooding and climate change (Lackmann 2013, J. Climate), and mid-latitude storms and climate change (Willison et al. 2013, J. Atmos. Sci.) I am collaborating with Walt Robinson on research into storm track changes associated with climate change. Other interests include numerical modeling of the atmosphere and weather prediction.
