The application of dynamic optimization tools to problems in environmental and natural resource management problems, including the management of endangered and invasive species and the management and harvesting of wild stocks. Of particular interest are questions concerning optimal responses to various kinds of uncertainty. Climate related concerns include managing non-stationary systems and responding to variations in climate change forecasts.
