Slowing of Gulf Stream Could See Faster Rising Seas in the Mid-Atlantic
Experts studying sea level rise have long known that the planet’s oceans will rise at different rates across the world. The mid-Atlantic is one of the places rising faster than most. A new study out this month in the Journal of Geophysical Research, validates the theory that the slowing of the Gulf Stream is one of the culprits.
