As director of our unit, I am interested in comprehensive research on improving climate resilience of forests through understanding the physiological and edaphic factors that govern forest responses to climate extremes, biotic and abiotic factors that contribute to forest climate stresses, wildlife habitat changes resulting from climate extremes, and assisting forest stakeholders through diverse outreach methods.
