Comprehensive Research Details Role of Soot in Climate Change
A new study from the Journal of Geophysical Research finds that soot emissions or “black carbon” (such as diesel and coal burning) has more influence on global warming than previously thought. However, because black carbon is more short-lived in the atmosphere than CO2, we have a chance of making a dent in it’s reduction.
