Conservation Planning Atlas for the SE Released
The Conservation Planning Atlas (CPA) for the U.S. Southeast has just been launched to help resources managers and the general public to make maps and perform analyses for conservation planning and design. The new Conservation Planning Atlas for the Southeast provides the most current, relevant and hard-to-find spatial datasets. The tool is accessible to anyone with an internet connection.
The CPA was designed specifically to address three major problems plaguing those who wish to use spatial analysis tools:
- the inconsistency and incompatibility of available datasets
- the overwhelming volume of data available
- the expert staff time required to properly disseminate available data
