This study evaluates global factors that influence the construction of houses, and found strong evidence that some climate aspects shape house architecture, including floor height, wall material and roof shape. The findings offer architects ways to reimagine houses in light of warmer, wetter or more variable climates.

Ecology and Society

This paper presents a relational science working model that supports Indigenous rights and reconciliation in research across disciplines. The authors detail opportunities and insights possible when applying values such as integrity, respect, humility, and reciprocity to restore long-term relational accountability toward Indigenous communities, lands, and futures.

Annual Review of Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics

This study found that nonnative flora and fauna species have several advantages with climate change, likely due to a combination of widespread introduction and broader climatic tolerances. They also found that they have large potential ranges which are expanding 100 times faster than native species.
