Travel and Destination Information
SE CASC selected Asheville to host the 2025 symposium to better partner with natural and cultural resource managers working to incorporate resilience into recovery after Hurricane Helene. In addition, this location offers an opportunity for the symposium to highlight not only SE CASC work but also work of our partner campus, NC Institute for Climate Studies.
The Asheville area will be recovering from Hurricane Helene for many years to come and meetings like these help play a part to economically boost this community. Learn more about the long-term recovery effort here.
