Introducing the Project Explorer

We’re excited to introduce the Project Explorer, a new interactive map that makes it easy to see where and how SE CASC science is being useful and used.

The map brings together over 90 projects across the Southeast and Caribbean, each designed to support the people, places, and ecosystems that depend on climate adaptation science. Some of the key areas you’ll find in the Project Explorer include:

  • Hazard-Ready Nation: building resilience to extreme storms, droughts, wildfires, and other climate-driven events.
  • Hunting and Fishing: sustaining traditions and economies by protecting habitats and species.
  • Safe Infrastructure: planning for roads, bridges, and systems that can withstand tomorrow’s conditions.
  • Tourism: safeguarding our heritage for the communities and visitors who celebrate them.
  • Clean Air and Water: ensuring the natural resources we depend on are abundant for future generations.

By clicking through the map, you can explore projects in your area or across the region, learn more about their goals, and see how partners are coming together to make meaningful change.

You can also view all of our funded research projects by visiting our project page directory here.
