Utah State University’s 3rd Annual Indigenous Knowledge Symposium

March 31, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

3rd Annual Indigenous Knowledge Symposium

The MESAS Indigenous Knowledge Symposium invites scholars to share their research, insights, and experiences working across various scientific disciplines. It is our hope that this annual symposium provides USU students, staff, faculty, and our larger community with an understanding of the critical role that Indigenous perspectives hold in the future of research and education.

This year we have invited three Indigenous scholars to share their knowledge.
Dr. Andrea Reid is an Assistant Professor of Indigenous Fisheries at The University of British Columbia.
Dr. Melinda Adams is an Assistant Professor in Indigenous Studies and Geography & Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Kansas.
Finally, Dr. Karlatta Chief is a professor of Environmental Science at the University of Arizona.
