Climate Adaptation Strategy for Fish, Wildlife & Plants Released
Managing the nation’s vast, diverse ecosystems is already a challenging task. A future climate unlike that of the recent past makes the job even more difficult, says a just released strategy developed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, NOAA, and the New York State Div. of Fish, Wildlife, and Marine Resources. The Strategy outlines key steps to help natural resource managers, private land owners and other decision makers safeguard the natural works in a changing climate.
