2021 Cumberland Plateau Stewardship Fund RFP webinar

National Fish and Wildlife Foundation will host a one hour applicant webinar this Thursday, Dec. 10th at 2:00pm EDT for those interested in learning more about the 2021 Cumberland Plateau Stewardship Fund RFP.

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has announced the release of the 2021 request for proposals under the Cumberland Plateau Stewardship Fund.
The Cumberland Plateau Stewardship Fund is a public-private partnership supported with Federal funding from USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service and the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and private funding from International Paper’s Forestland Stewards Partnership and the Altria Group.
This request for proposals (RFP) expects to award approximately $1 million in federal and private sector funding in support of projects within the greater Cumberland Plateau region that restore and improve shortleaf pine and oak forests, riparian forests, soil health, water quality, and/or in-stream habitats, and populations of associated wildlife species, such as northern bobwhite, prairie warbler, as well as fish, amphibians and other aquatic species.
Full proposals are due Thursday, February 18, 2021 by 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
