Dr. Beasley will highlight her research looking at how insects respond to human-driven environmental change. She will use her earlier research on the ecological consequences of Chernobyl to inform what we can learn about insects under urban conditions. Her research at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga involves undergraduate researchers and citizen scientists with unique projects.
