Global Change Seminar event: Climate & Freshwater Futures Panel

Join the Southeast CASC Global Change Fellows for a two-part series exploring the freshwater ecosystems of the Southeast United States 

First, on Thursday, April 7, the Global Change Fellows will hold an exclusive screening of the film Hidden Rivers which unveils the beautiful, biodiverse world that exists below the surface of rivers and streams in the Southern Appalachians. Then, on Friday, April 8, the Fellows will hold a conversation on “Climate and Freshwater Futures” with researchers and managers working to maintain these ecosystems in the face of a changing climate.

The SE CASC Global Change Fellows convene a conversation with a panel of researchers and managers in the Southeast working to maintain these important freshwater ecosystems in the face of a changing climate.

  • Dr. Andrew Dolloff from the Center for Forest Watershed Research of the USFS Southern Research Station
  • Mr. Todd Ewing from the Southeast Aquatic Resource Partnership
  • Dr. Caleb Hickman from the Fish and Wildlife program of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians
