An economics’-eye view – hurricane, post disaster labor markets are not only disrupted from labor supply, but also from post disaster shifts in labor demand. Dr. Rushaine Goulbourne is currently a Climate Risk analyst at Freddie Mac focusing on the impact of natural disasters on housing. Dr. Goulbourne is a graduate of the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa) where he received his PhD in Economics. His areas of research include Environmental Economics (focus on natural disasters), Urban Economics, and Regional Economics.
