Study on Long-Term Environmental Trends in the Gulf of Mexico

NASEM Gulf Research Program
The Committee on Long Term Environmental Trends in the Gulf of Mexico will be assessing various aspects of current U.S. Gulf of Mexico restoration efforts, including the cumulative effects of multiple restoration projects and the effects of acute events (e.g., hurricanes) and long-term physical changes (e.g., sea level rise). The committee will also evaluate existing resources for informing restoration decision making and recommend adaptive management strategies.
