Bio

Bryan Saunders is on a Presidential Management Fellow detail as the Acting Assistant Regional Administrator for the Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center (SE CASC), which is one of nine centers in the United States at the core of the Department of the Interior’s adaptation and conservation goals. In this role, he focuses on using science and data to support effective management of natural and cultural resources. Prior to this detail, Bryan worked with stakeholders and scientists to protect human health and the environment by helping to manage grant and rebate programs aimed at reducing air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from mobile sources with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Before joining the EPA, Bryan served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years where he specialized in program management and research.
